16-Bit Legend Of Zelda Link Computer Case Mod

We’ve shown you a lot of computer case mods over the years, but this one is special. It’s one I would truly love to have. It’s a 16-bit PC case inspired by The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a creative Link inspired build. I remember a few months ago when I wrote about that huge life-size papercraft Link. It was the kind of thing you just couldn’t stop staring at.

What’s even better about this mod is that the creator, Richard Clinton (8-Bit Builder), documented the whole process in a worklog and in the time-lapse video below, so you could conceivably make one of these for yourself. I have a feeling that it is a little harder than it looks though. I mean, after all, the PC remains as a fully functional desktop computer.

This video is very well done, and it even sports a rockin Zelda medley. Richard is available to make you a custom case of your own if you aren’t brave enough to try this yourself. You can contact him via YouTube or on Facebook. He says these usually take about a month to build, and you can tell by looking at the quality that it’s totally a labor of love. Oh, and nice Pac-Man pajamas.
