Condoms make me laugh in an “I’m in sixth grade, and I have a lame joke to tell you” kind of way. It’s not that they are really funny, but I giggle every time I see someone bust out with some creative condom marketing. I’ve written about condoms more times than I can count.
One of my favorites was this iPhone case with the secret compartment for an emergency condom. That case is appropriately called the JustInCase. These retro gaming condoms were really fun also. Today I’m featuring company branded condoms, and they are guaranteed to make you smile.
You might remember that back in 2006 there was a viral email circulating with drawn illustrations of similar condoms. It’s interesting because I remember back then people’s attitude was very different about things like this. It seems as though we’ve lightened up quite a bit since then, doesn’t it? Apparently some people have taken that condom concept one-step further and redesigned them as actual condom packages. The tumblr blog called New Condoms is specifically dedicated to doing just that. One of the designers on the site is the very talented 19-year-old Max Write. I’ll definitely be checking back to see the new designs in the future. Nice!
