WalkNText: Master Walking & Texting With This iPhone/Android App

WalkNText iPhone Android App

Now you can finally become the master of your own domain and confidently walk and text (simultaneously) whenever, wherever you want. I’m an app junkie, and I write about a lot of apps on Bit Rebels, but rarely do I find one that is as creatively cool as this one. Recently I wrote about an app that lets you text and walk at the same time by allowing you to view what is in front of you via your smartphone camera. It’s perfect for people like me who trip over their own two feet on a regular basis. Today I’d like to share with you an app I found which does the same thing only it’s much more powerful, and it has many more advanced features.

I don’t know if you saw the viral video that’s gotten over 2.7 million views in the past few days, but it’s of a woman eating the concrete while trying to text and walk. I put it below for your viewing pleasure. If you want to keep something like that from happening to you, get the WalkNText app for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android smartphone.

I’ve compared this app to similar ones, and it’s the best one of its kind for many reasons. First of all, it has a transparent keyboard which allows for a much larger viewing space (if you don’t want the transparent keyboard, with one click, you can switch back to the built in keyboard). So whatever your style is; you can truly type and walk without being nervous at all.

It also has some other advanced features like multiple language support and the ability to be in either landscape or portrait mode. You can even change the color of the text so depending on what the floor or ground looks like in front of you, you can be sure the text stands out. It also has a flashlight to light your way if you are walking outside at night and want to text freely. And, to top it all off, this app will sync to your Facebook, Twitter and email accounts, so you can post your text anywhere you’d like. There’s even a little character counter icon so you can be sure you are being brief in your texts and staying under 140 characters for Twitter.

Check out the video below so you can see it in action. If you get this app, you’ll definitely thank me later. It was developed by Incorporate Apps, and it was just released about ten days ago. I hope you decide to take it for a spin. You can get it here on iTunes or in the Android Market. It’s officially on my list of favorites!

Spying on cute guys is also a handy use for this app. :)
Spying on People With App

I recommend this app so you don’t eat the concrete or
fall into a HUGE fountain at the mall like these people!
