Dead Yourself: Make Anyone A Walker With The Walking Dead iPhone App

walking-dead-iphone-app

I was on The Walking Dead Facebook page this morning to find out when the new season starts next week, and I saw this Walking Dead iPhone app called Dead Yourself. I try not to write about apps unless I have a chance to experience them for myself to make sure they aren’t lame, and I’m happy to report that I’ve just wasted 20 minutes with one, which means it’s definitely not lame. I turned myself and my family (even my dog) into walkers (pics below).

Whoever said that zombies are so ‘last year’ was definitely wrong. This app will have you calling everyone you know and asking them to send you pictures so you can zombify them. This Walking Dead iPhone app is super easy to use. You just align the zombie head with the head of the person in the photo. Then you can choose which zombie eyes and mouth to add. You even have the option to add accessories like a knife stabbed through the skull or a zombiefied doll. Last but not least, you choose the background lighting to give it all a super creepy effect.

I give this Walking Dead iPhone app two thumbs up. You’ll add some great photographs to your family photo album with this one. I’ve tried several zombie apps over the past few years, and this one is definitely up there with the best ones. There is even an option to post your walker photos to your social networking sites. The best part about this app is that it’s free. If you install this app and start turning everyone you know into a walker, I hope you come back here and leave us the link to your pictures. What a great little app to bring families together, while tearing them apart. Have fun!
